Comments:
-let me reiterate that nikki sudden is god
-mad props to dalek for effectively using mars from the planets by holst
-glass candy does live up to the hype
-I didn't like the track from the notwist that I played. maybe I just guessed badly
-I thought I was playing another laddio song, but I accidentally put in disk 2 instead of disk 1
-khan jamal is awesome. he should be on a real label instead of having to send out cd-rs. why didn't matthew shipp offer to release jamal's album on the blue series after jamal did his last record?
-leroy jenkins=god when nikki sudden is taking days off. does anyone know if the solo concert album has been issued on cd?
-mind flayer=pure evil goodness
-the song-poetry comp is the best outsider rock since songs in the key of z
-pel mel is great. perhaps the best thing on that comp (which came from one of the guys who helped put together the can't stop it comp)
-I think I like mission of burma's version of 1970 better than the stooges one
-ken vandermark et al was disappointing. you can't really do funkadelic with just sax/bass/drums
-finds of the day: godzuki, sawhorse, candy machine, mr len

notes:
-brother ah>no-neck blues band>willie nelson is perhaps the best series of 3 songs ever
-I enjoyed the song from the matthew shipp anti-pop album that I played, despite all the criticisms against it
-someone called in right after the combat wounded veteran song saying that he was about to go to bed when he had turned on the radio and that that song was going to keep him awake for at least another half hour. I love hardcore
-the shooting pool and tetsu inoue were played simultaneously and it worked
-I don't like boards of canada
-glad to have the jackie-o-motherfucker. it's a good record.
-I wish we had more stuff on the atavistic unheard music series. everything I've heard from that has been uniformly excellent.
-I think I played the wrong waco brothers track. it was a bit alt-country for my tastes
-dot matrix printers make surprisingly good music
-the derek bailey was somewhat of a dissapointment. he's not at his best on that record
-finds of the day: no-neck blues band, frosty, vitapup, helmet, clifford thornton, robyn hitchcock
