-I have a thing for solo string-instrumental weirdness. hence I really liked mark feldman and black swan network
-nikki sudden is great
-people who make requests for a band and then call back when you don't play the particular song that they had in mind but didn't tell you are not great
-I like the principle and some of the individual sounds of the cul de sac track, but in practice it didn't work so well
-turbonegro are officially disturbing. I think the lyrics to the song I played would put the frogs to shame
-mission of burma kicks ass. I need to get my hands on the horrible truth about burma
-narnack is my favorite label of the moment. I'm totally excited for the sonic youth/erase errata split 7" they're gonna release soon
-palomar is my band I just met of the moment. those kids are really nice and a lot of fun. check out their live set on art's show this wednesday
-how anyone could call lozenge a ska band (as it says on the 7") is beyond me
